I notice if I use the new boats (either OptimistVW or Lama60) that are posted here I cannot use AI with them. I can race them solo, I've not been able to get onto a race using them in multiplayer, but if I select AI drivers for say 3 of 4 boats and save a course in the editor, upon playing it the game exits as you cross the starting line.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I did have something similar trying out AI competition with the Optimist. The same race worked OK without the AI boats. However, another forum reports a similar crash with the Lama 60 immediately on starting an on-line race.
