Knowing the Course - A clue before you race

Suggestions for the next VSK version (and VSK bug reports)

It seems to me that the challenge section of the game would be more beneficial if you did not have to guess the course, i.e. when racing a new challenge not having to wait till after you round, loosing seconds, until the next mark is illuminated. Is there a way that the course can be displayed on the race selection screen with all the other data?

This would not only allow you a fighting chance to pass the challenge the first time, but also would make it fairer to those racing on unfamiliar “homemade” courses.

Three clues

a) on your radar screen, the direction to the next mark is shown with a yellow line. A quick mental math exercise and you can easily figure not only the overall direction but the angle vs. the wind on the new heading (ie the need to change sails)

b) there is a key that displays the course from above (you can unzoom / scroll if needed). This key can be configured as explained by murphs above

c) you can open most courses in the course editor. There you can see not only the course itself, but also the stream / constant wind patterns. So that you can also anticipate on these elements.

Good luck
