It's both good and bad to have the option to edit the boat names. Personally I don't see big reasons to have that option, but there is a big reason for not having the option. I can promise you that someone will "steal" the identity of another skipper, trying to give a bad reputation. A solution that will satesfy both the urge to have more boat names, and wish to protect against abuse, is to introduce another feature in the race lobby. When you click on a boat name, another field on the screen should be updated with the unique login identity of that skipper. This way a skipper can never hide under false name, but can still use more boat names if he has reasons for it.

PS! Later, skipper stats can also be published that way.

Is this how I manage to get into the opening screen shot???

I don't have VSK2 yet (christmas i hope :D ) So i'm fairly sure it wasn't me.

At least we can now (with patch 1.3) see in the score log who we actually was racing against, if some "problems" occured during the race...

If you hit [esc] during a race and go to the buddy list, you can see your opponents "boat name" and their profile name which is entered when the game is first installed. This can't be changed without uninstalling and reinstalling the game.
