To show that the Beavers do give a Dam, we are emailing each other right now.

Oobie.
Just finished discussing w. Cdn skippers. we were about to suggest 8:00 or 2000 hrs Eastern Daylight time. ( Eastern Standard time is minus 5 hours from UT. We may also probably good for a range of 1600 hrs to 2000 hrs.
Is this too early?

Are week days out?

Hi Bob. Weekdays are out as your evenings are our our mornings/lunchtimes and we're at work.

The best times are as I mentioned earlier:

8pm -10pm Sat night EDT = 10am - midday Sunday AEST.

This Sunday is probaby too late to get a team ready as it's already 11pm Saturday night here.

Perhaps we can aim for next Sat/Sun?

Oobie, since we are close, let's still see if tonight, saturday, is still okay. That is - 8:00 edt.

Lets keep this on the burner and post here. will contact the other cdn skippers about tonight.

This will give you a morning start, and a huge advantage, as we hoped to race the Aussies when they might have been blitzed by the demon booze.

Paul,
We are 90% certain we can field a team of 3 on Saturday at 8:00 pm EDT.

Let's just show up at appointed time and see if both teams can field a full complement.

Good luck

Hey hey hey! WE were there on Saturday (well two of us were) and ready to race. Unfortunately only one person from the other team showed up, and that was only to tell us no one was coming :p

I'm just going to keep showing up at 20:00-22:00 EDT every Saturday and hopefully one of these weeks we will get the races off. It's proving rather difficult given that there is exactly one time slot per week that even comes close to suitable for everyone.
In theory there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice there is.

LOL - Theo stirring the pot :-)

I asked the guys again for a time and our Saturday morning - your Friday night looks like a go for this weekend.

If you guys can make it, I'll get signatures in blood.

Cheers,

Paul

Hmmm, just now.... did we show up?!? :p

Did you send the email to our whole team or just me? You should email our team captain which is.... um.... Jake... I think, or maybe Bob... just not me :blues:

Just sent it to you Keith, I thought you were the most responsible.

When there was no answer in this thread or back via email, I told my guys it wasn't on.

Next time, I'll email all of you. :;):

The time this challenge is now officially outstanding has to be counted in YEARS now.
