What is the nationality of Francisco? I can't see him in the VTC database, please make him sign up.
BuoyRacer is from GBR, and we might have a problem with him joining another national team under VTC SI 1.3.3.

1.3 NATIONAL CRITERIA
1.3.1 Each team shall represent a country.
1.3.2 All members of the team shall be citizens of the country the team is representing, except when a member is approved according to article 1.3.3.
1.3.3 The VTC Race Committee may approve use of an international member under one of the following premices:
- The international has been a member of the team at least since 2009.
- The country the team is representing does not have enough VSK sailors in order to line up a full team.
- The country the international member is citizen of does not have enough VSK sailors in order to line up a full team.
1.3.4 The teams may use a maximum of 1 international member on the water at a time.

Hi Harald

Can you please give me some clarification on whether I could sail WTRC11 as an international skipper for a non UK based team. I am from the UK but do not know many team racers from the UK, we do not have a national VSK website which may help the co-ordination of a national team. UK virtual sailors tend to meet international sailors on the game, join those that they enjoy sailing with and become members of that site and team. I can think of 3 other virtual team racers from the UK, but they appear to be international members of other teams for WTRC11. I think forming a team from the UK may not be possible.

So looking at Rule 1.3.3 I accept the 'may' (and not shall) and its meaning but I also note the wording 'under one of the following premise'

I therefore believe that I 'may' be accepted by the RC to sail under part b) 'The country the team is representing does not have enough VSK sailors in order to line up a full team.'

In this case I am only aware of two regular vsk racers from Bulgaria, although I know that Julien has tried and continues to try to find others to join this from his country.

I see from your post that you believe the RC may have a problem with me sailing for this team and also note Theo's recent communication where he seems to believe that any international skipper would need to be sailing both for a country that does not have enough vsk sailors to form a team and be from a country that also does not have enough sailors.

I have raced with Julien and Todor in the Fulmini team last year and would also like to participate in this tournament with these 'friends' if it satisfies the rules and is acceptable to the RC. I would, therefore, greatly appreciate clarification on my position.
