Protest on SoVa race 3, time 4:55.
He luffs while I'm tacking and hits my stern.
I was all the time keeping clear until collision, so it's a 16.1 violation.
I request cancel which he ignores. I have to do 2 x 360.
Penalty 6 points for 16.1
Penalty 10 points for not cancelling.

For the record, there was no hail for RTT.
Parus luffed to give room, but even if he got 6 points, it's a win for blue.

Agree, pen for sova. He not ask RTT.
i said during race it was his penalty.
He not cancel pen hence for D3.1b 10 more points for red.

Replays and timestamps for protests in race 1 and 2?

TRC 2020 03 19 Protest on SoVa race 3

I have parts of replay for race 1 and full of race 2.

In race 1 I remember Drao broke rule 18.2b with SoVa at the bottom mark, so even if blue has another protest which they win, it will be race win to red. Shuraz also broke rule 11 with Sailgood on the last leg.

In race 2 I remember Sailgood protested Drao P Red (I assume he ment PX) at the top mark. Here Sailgood is luffing on starboard when Drao is rounding the mark on port, so rule 18 does not apply. 16 applies and 13 applies. Drao took a pen turn, but I it should have been a pen to Sailgood. I don't know if you have other protests, but it will hard to get a race win to red...

Yesterday I protested against Sailgood for a mast contact at 13:45 (time in replay, attached).

I'm hardly sure about the decision but I try to post (no pen no gain) for this protest.

I tacked at 13:40 (time in replay), very fast to establish my boat on starboard tack. Then contact occurs.

A little voice in my opinion says that Sailgood could have tacked a bit earlier and turned with more rudder angle in order to try to avoid contact.

This is also race 1, and penalty count was 2 blue, 1 red before that situation, so won't help.
Though mast contact was far down, and would have happened anyway even with full rudder imo.

Late for more protests now, so removing protest flags from race 1 and 2.
