Unless you NEED a TFT (no space, desk to weak, in need of big income tax depreciation) get a CRT.
The thruth about these response times is that they are a farce.
Simply said
CRT ca. 3 ms
TFT ca. 15 ms should be okay for human eye but that's response from black to white (max power , crystal flips over fast) from 33% to 66% (grey to grey, only 33% power crystal flips way slower...) that could be much much worse.
TEST before you buy, take a good hard long look at video like a soccer game where the dutch (orange shirts) play with a white ball on a prestine green grassfield. If there's no tracing, slurring etc. then the monitor / tv should be okay. Aspecially orange on green should be easy to see tracing, the fast moving white ball on green grass too.
Test your favourite game too before you buy.
