Exemption to SI 1.5.2

All teams are given exemption to SI 1.5.2 until the start of WTRC 2011. The reason for this is the fact that the update in the SI was made during low season of VSK team racing, and team admins have not been notified of the change by e-mail.

- Si 5.2 is thus not applicable until 24:00 GMT on Ferbuary 13th 2011

Hence switching from one team to another until then for VTC is without limitations as far as (SI 1.3 ) the national criteria are fulfilled.

This limits the §3.2 NOR WTRC wich reads:

3.2 Each competing team shall consist of three skippers, with any number of reserves. Reserve skippers do not have to be nominated prior to the event. However they may not swap teams after they have started a race for a team.

as of the 13th of february 24:00 Skipers can not switch team, after that point in time if registered for a team at the VTC you cannot be reserve for another team.

! You do not have to register reserve skippers for your team at the VTC until you need them.
!! If you would like to be considered a reserve skipper for any team representing your country you should not be registered for a team at the mentioned point in time.

SI VTC 1.5.4
A team that no longer want to participate, has less than 3 members, or has not sailed any VTC races (walkover losses excluded) during the last 12 months, will be deactivated.
[/quote]

the ",or has not sailed any VTC races..... ,will be deactivated." of course does apply only for teams that have been registered for 12 months or more...

RC reserve the right to change NOR and or SI at anytime...
