Hi Julien,

With regards to changing the H20 team name instead of creating a new, we'll keep the H20 team for a possible entry from the Netherlands.
However, there originally was a team named EST Fulmini last year, so we'll just revert you to that team (buoyracer originally was a fulmini member).
The old fulmini team was renamed to EST Italia (and later Wolves), and this team is now moved to the third available EST Team.

Bulgaria is currently exempted to use internationals under rule 1.3.3.
Please note that rule 1.3.4 applies to all teams, allowing only one international on the water at a time.

First of all, I would like to excuse myself for our stupid behavior in last year's WTRC. Please accept our appologies.

I am writing you because EST would like clarification on the ban imposed on last year's rule cheating.

EST skippers are asking me if they are eligible to register for this year's WTRC.

Are all EST members banned from this year's edition or there are specific skippers who are banned?

Please specify what the ban imposes.

Hi Darren,

Thank you for your apology. It's appreciated and accepted.

After a rule 69 hearing, the WTRC 2011 protest committee expelled only the 4 members of EST Italia from WTRC 2011 "for committing a gross breach of a rule, good manners and sportsmanship by breaking RRS 2, 3, the basic principle of sportsmanship and SI 1.3." As a consequence of this, the same skippers were temporily banned from events at other sites. One of these sites is VSK Fun, which has published their decision in their forum. After April 18 2012, these skippers may again sail at events at VSK Fun.

So the short answer to your question is that other members of EST are most welcome at WTRC 2012.

From the VSK Fun forum I gave the link to in the the previous message, I can quote:

"3. The skippers Junior Malta, MMario, Miraggio / tiGER and Sailgood are barred from taking part at an event hosted by VSKFun within 12 months.
Such events, in particular, are "VSKFun Trophy", "Kieler Woche", "International German Championship" and the "Fleet Ladder Races," and any further races announced and published on or by VSKFun. A registration for a VSKFun event can take place only after the ban has expired."
