Hi Harald, I have a little problem here. A tree fell on the power line at main street where I live (they are working now to fix). so there is no power to my modem - router and my notbook (only 15% now).

SO I thinks its right I withdraw and leave my spot for another one sorry.

Shuraz protesting SoVa under rule 16.1
As soon as there is a collision course 13 seconds into the video, Shuraz stops his turn and does his best to keep clear.
SoVa has right of way, and continues to turn to port, making it impossible for Shuraz to avoid contact.
If SoVa didn't turn port after collision course, Shuraz would have been able to keep clear.

Edit saturday morning: Even though the reasoning is technically correct, what goes against Shuraz is the fact that he would have reached port tack before SoVa reached startboard tack, giving Shuraz right of way. But then Shuraz had to give SoVa room under rule 15. It's a tight situation, so probably correct with penalty to both skippers, as both could have done better...

euphoria protesting SoVa under rule 15 and Balder under rule 16.1.
euphoria to windward of Balder just before the finish.
euphoria keeping clear, as Balder can turn in any direction without making immediate contact.
SoVa then tacks to starboard and has to give Balder and euphoria room to keep clear under rule 15.
It is not possible for euphoria to go behind SoVa, so euphoria starts luffing.
euphoria has to wait for Balder also to luff, in order to be able to luff more.
It was not possible for Balder to go behind SoVa without making a hard turn, forcing a collision with euphoria.
By going hard down, Balder is breaking rule 16.1.
Only if Balder had luffed, we would possibly(!) have been able to be given room by SoVa (him luffing hard).
But it's a hard move, and either way one of the blue team members are either breaking rule 15 or 16.1.
But since SoVa create a situation that is almost impossible to get out of, I think it's most of all 15 to SoVa.

Closing this now as a twin penalty. Most likely more of a SoVa pen, but I don't want to give my self benefit as I'm the only one posting here...

Thanks for the replay. I confirm penalty on Ilya.
What made me look twice was the fact that there was no immediate contact from the luff of Shuraz, which means Ilya was keeping clear by definition.
But after this luff, Ilya does nothing to increase distance between boats. In fact this gave him a headache after a while...
