Boat name text formatting - Boat name text formatting

I have had VSK3 for a couple of weeks now and am slowly getting used to it. Tried to play around with skins a bit but obviously need a good graphics package. But, I noticed many boat names have formatted text. I was pointed to the TrackMania site but had no luck finding how to do this.
Can anybody help?
