Dear “skippers” all over the World, we’re very glad to inform you that the “VELAROSSA CUP – International Fleet Championship” is on the move again!
The greatest news? We will race both ACC and RC44 …. just looking forward to give “tacticians” a greater chance of better performances!
Here a short introduction:
1) First off all, you're kindly requested to register yourself at the www.velarossa.com site. Please, do that using the same "nickname" you previously registered at "Virtual Skipper 5".
2) Starting on September the 20th, you'll be able to sign-up for the upcoming event "Velarossa Cup 2007/08". Please, for this procedure, help yourself with the links you'll see on the "right-upper-corner of our site". On the same date, the tournament rules (English version coming soon!) and all information you need will be released.
3) Create your “team” as well. Have min.3-max.6 skippers, name your team as you like. The best 3 out 6 scored results will be picked-up and taken into account in determining the “Team Ranking”.
4) The two races of qualification, which will define the composition of all racing groups for the 1st race, will take place on Thursday, October the 4th and 11th at 10.30 p.m., with start 15 minutes later.
5) On thursday, October the 18th at 10.30 p.m., the 1st out 28 races of the "Velarossa Cup 2007/08" will take place.
