Boat creator...

we should be able to design our own boats, and i'm not talking about paint jobs, i mean real design, like the lenght, weight, keel placement, sails etc.

like this cool flight simulator http://www.x-plane.com/ X-plane, that actually calculates realtime how the plane will move based on the design of aircraft.

that realtime thing is version 3 feature, but it would help if we could get more boats...

From what I've heard, such a design your own boat (or rather design your own plane) function comes as standard with MS Flight sim.
From what I understand there is also a thriving industry of companies external to MS that produce plugins to extend the functionality of the game, by adding in new plane models and landmaps/geographical aerias that can be used by the basic software.
This is - from my limited understanding on the subject - one of the cornerstones to the success of MS Flight sim.
Maybe something to think about for Duran too?
