Postby Shura » 18 Feb 2020 12:55

time 0:14-0:21

my opinion
Shuraz ever-changing course
Geronimo later starts avoiding...
overlap with mark off. R18 off too.
i think it s rule 11 .
maybe green flag ?

time 0:44 - 0:48

Geronimo doing gybe.
but his sails do not have time to fill with the wind.
I think it s rule 13.2 or border rule15.

your opinion please

The first situation is on the borderline between 16 and 11. It can not be green, because of contact.
See MR Call A1, if you don't luff in the end, it is 11. If you luff in the end, it's 16.1.

The second situation depends on what rule you are racing under. If 13.2 applies for 2 seconds, then it looks like Geronimo never gets right of way, so he shall keep clear under rule 11, then 13.2, then 11 (at time of collision).
