Tom , try this web page for your IP address, if you cant with MyWanIP
http://www.speedguide.net/analyzer.php
the IP will be in the upper of the page
Put this IP in the force address server in VSK3
And open port 2350 (or whatever)with your lan IP 192.168.0.168(if it is the IP of your computer) in Port Forwarding of your router or in your accesspoint.
I have a Wireless Netgear and i type 192.168.0.1 in the direction bar internet explorer and i have access to the router. Default is: (user : admin) and password:(password)
I hope this will can help you

Thanks Gerard...problem is that I can't access the router. They won't let me do that. But I know the guy who has the computer and the router in his office so I'm working on him....

Seems I'm the only sober one as everyone else missed this part ;)

That wireless hotspot is your "router". There is zero chance that you'll get anyone running a hotspot to start opening ports for you so you can forget hosting while on the road.
In theory there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice there is.
